European Microfinance Day

As every year, the European Microfinance Day is supported in Romania by European Microfinance Network (MFC) and Microfinance Centre (EMN) in cooperation with Patria Credit.

European Microfinance Day îand proposes to:

Draw the attention of European citizens îin general and Romanians îin particular to the existence of microfinance and its value îin combating unemployment and social exclusion

Draw media attention to how microfinance works in Europe and how it supports and helps the unemployed and European citizens excluded from the traditional financial sector

Încourage the exchange of experience and knowledge within the European microfinance sector, giving visibility to the work of MFC members and MNEs

Allow local members to draw attention to their achievements and missions at local level

In Romania, Patria Credit will mark Microfinance Day with an event dedicated to local communities of farmers and small entrepreneurs, organised in Fierbinți, which will debate the issues of fair financing in Romania and how Patria Credit can help small communities to develop.

European Microfinance Day is organised în Romania and with the support of European Fund for Southeast Europe.
