Bogdan Merfea

Bogdan Merfea

Bogdan Merfea is the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Bogdan has extensive executive management experience, having previously served as CEO of Patria Bank, Patria Credit IFN and Raiffeisen Bank Kossovo.

In parallel to developing an academic career over 18 years, Mr. Merfea has coordinated, since 1995, projects and programs for the support and promotion of micro and SMEs in Romania.

An active promoter of financial inclusion, Mr. Merfea is an active member of the European Microfinance Network and is still the Chairman of the Board of Patria Credit. Mr. Merfea has extensive academic experience, holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Management and has also attended courses at the prestigious INSEAD

Daniela Elena Iliescu

Daniela Iliescu

Daniela Iliescu is a member în the Board of Directors of Patria Bank, with extensive experience în the field of finance (financial management, reporting and budgeting) for major institutions such as EEAF and BAF. Ms. Iliescu is very actively involved in monitoring fund investments in the financial services sector, most relevantly in Patria Bank and Patria Credit.

Prior to her current position, she worked for seven years at PWC Romania, where she was responsible for coordinating audit and financial advisory services for major clients in the banking, leasing, lending and asset management industries.

She graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies (Bucharest), is an accredited member of ACCA, the Romanian Chamber of Auditors and the Romanian Organization of Accountants, and has completed the Executive MBA courses of the University of Vienna.

Burak Yildiran

Burak Yildiran

Burak Yildiran has been appointed to the board of Patria Credit în 2021.

He has 25 years of experience îin banking, finance and technology, including almost 20 years spent îwithin Garanti BBVA. Burak has also worked înia înia in Romania înia as Deputy General Manager of Garanti România. &During his tenure at Turkey's largest bank, he was responsible for business development, strategic leadership, change and transformation management, digitalization, customer experience and talent management.

Burak holds an MBA from WU Executive Academy - University of Vienna and a BA in Business Administration from Hacettepe University in Ankara.

Raluca Ștefania Andreica

Raluca Ștefania Andreica took up the position of Director General in February 2016.

With over 20 years of experience îin the financial-banking industry, Raluca is among the leading specialists îin microfinance in Romania. With stories from the grassroots and from the deep reality of the Romanian village, Raluca is a true believer and a do-er in rural development. At the same time, she is împlicated îin the region, being a consultant îin Moldova, Board Member îin the European Microfinance Network and, at the same time, she joined the establishment of the first financing institution for the social economy sector in Romania, AFIN.

Raluca Andreica is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies and holds an MBA in Financial Management and Financial Services.

Valeria Mâinea

Valeria Mainea

Valeria Mâinea has returned to Patria Credit îin the position of Deputy General Manager and CFO îstarting October 2022, after previously holding various positions îin the financial area îwithin the Patria Bank Group. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial banking industry, of which more than 15 years in managerial positions, Valeria has extensive professional expertise in both banking and non-banking financial institutions (NFIs) and in the financial area, with a focus on planning & controlling, reporting & regulatory, accounting, methodology and treasury. He has been actively involved in challenging projects in Finance and Business (IFRS implementation and reporting, NFI transformation and M&A), banking services and products, and microfinance. Valeria graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies and is an ACCA UK accredited member.
