Fondul European de Investiții (FEI)
For the Investment Programme for Capacity Building of Microfinance Institutions under the EU Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI CBI), the European Investment Fund (EIF) grants Patria Credit IFN a subordinated loan for
a period of 10 years. The 10 million lei are intended to support the ambitious development plans of the NFI în the next period în particular în the field of financing micro-farms, which generally have limited access to
traditional credit. The loan also aims to improve Patria Credit's ability to contract other financing lines from reputable lenders.
Patria Credit IFN SA and the European Investment Fund (EIF) have signed a financing agreement within the framework of the European Progress Microfinance Facility, our institution being the first financial institution in Romania to benefit from this facility exclusively dedicated to the financing of micro-enterprises.
Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB)
The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) is a multilateral development bank, whose unique mission is to promote social cohesion in its 43 member states across Europe. The CEB finances investment in social sectors, including
education, health and affordable housing, with a focus on the needs of vulnerable people.
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD”)
The EBRD has supported the microfinance industry in Romania by providing financing facilities that are then used by the beneficiaries for microcredit and by providing technical assistance. Patria Credit is one of the beneficiaries
of such a financing facility, also receiving support in the framework of technical assistance programmes allowing the development of its own microfinance activity.
European Fund for Southeast Europe (“EFSE”)
EFSE is an investment fund that supports the development of public-private partnerships aimed at leading to the growth of the microfinance industry. Along with other players in the local market, Patria Credit has benefited from its
funding and technical assistance over the past 4 years.
OIKO Credit
OIKO Credit has been a lender to the company for over 4 years. At the same time, it has been a strong partner in supporting the development of Patria Credit's microfinance business.
ResponsAbility
ResponsAbility is a long-standing partner of Patria Credit, one of the world's leading providers of funding to microfinance institutions in emerging economies. ResponsAbility acts as an efficient and reliable partner for
microfinance institutions and banks providing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. It has a strong network and in-depth knowledge of capital markets, hedging and structuring, and is thus able to offer a wide range of tailor-made
financing solutions.
Developing World Markets (“DWM”)
DWM is a financial institution focused on providing financing to emerging markets. The funding provided by DWM has supported the development of Patria Credit's microcredit activity.
Overseas Private Investment Corporation (“OPIC”)
The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) is an agency under the U.S. government that supports U.S. investment in emerging markets around the world. The agency provides medium- and long-term financing through direct loans and
loan guarantees. OPIC funding has supported the growth of our microcredit activity.
International Finance Corporation("IFC")
IFC, a member of the World Bank Group. and Patria Credit have partnered to support access to finance for micro and small businesses in Romania, supporting sustainable economic growth.
IFC provided a loan of 36.6 million lei ($10.4 million) to Patria Credit, the largest non-bank microfinance institution in Romania.
