Programme for Rural Entrepreneurship Development and Financial Inclusion
Seeds of Change (Afaceri cu rădăcini in Romanian) is a strategic programme designed to support micro-entrepreneurs and small farmers in Romania, developed by Patria Credit IFN in partnership with REDI Economic Development, with financial support provided by the Council of Europe Development Bank. The programme is funded through a grant awarded under the InvestEU Blending Facility for Microfinance, with the support of the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF ), and aims to strengthen financial inclusion and economic resilience in rural and vulnerable communities.

The programme reflects Patria Credit’s more than 30 years of mission to support the sustainable development of small entrepreneurs and farmers in Romania.
Under the initiative, the first free training and entrepreneurial development programmes, as well as facilitated access to finance, have been launched for farmers, entrepreneurs and individuals who wish to develop or start a business.
All programmes are offered free of charge to eligible beneficiaries and include training sessions, mentoring, hands-on support and access to loans with subsidised interest rates.
